Islamabad: Another bomb blast has occurred in the Balochistan province of Pakistan. A bomb targeted a vehicle carrying coal mine workers, resulting in the death of 10 individuals. The explosion took place on a pickup truck carrying workers. The attack killed 10 people instantly, and six others were injured, with local hospitals providing treatment. Similar incidents have previously been reported in this area, with the explosion occurring in the Harnai region of Balochistan.

Officials suggest that the explosion was likely carried out using a remote-controlled device, but they have yet to confirm which group was behind the attack. The area’s deputy commissioner, Hazrat Wali Aga, confirmed that 17 mining workers were traveling in the truck at the time of the blast. Among the injured, two people are reported to be in critical condition. Balochistan, a region rich in mineral resources, is located near the Afghanistan border. The area has seen long-standing separatist movements by Baloch groups and remains active with Islamic terrorists.

This is not the first incident in Balochistan, as violent events have increased in the region in recent times. Earlier today, a bomb exploded near a security convoy in Bannu, injuring two security personnel. Unknown militants planted roadside bombs near the Domel police station in the Mangal Mela area, causing the blast. Following the attack, security forces began a search operation in the area, but no militants have been arrested so far.
