He complimented the Prime Minister for walking gracefully during the high-level meeting with the US President. Shashi Tharoor expressed optimism that several issues the country is facing will soon be resolved.
Due to the tariffs imposed by the US on India, he mentioned that if we rush into taking hasty measures, it could affect the products being exported from the country. He stated that some youths are illegally traveling abroad on the wrong path and urged the return of Indian citizens who have gone this way. He requested that authorities take appropriate measures to prevent such illegal migration in the future. He referred to Trump's offer of F-35 fighter jets as a positive development for India.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Modi made important comments regarding illegal migration during his visit to the US. He clarified that Indian nationals living illegally in the US would be brought back to India. He stated that if someone enters a country illegally, they do not have the right to live there, and the same rule applies globally. He requested that the Indians who have gone illegally should return.
